My question is about the more general workflow of the development team, not the direct coding problem, and I don't know if such issues are resolved here.
We have created a digital agent brand in a multi-brand company. All of us (currently 4 people) are experienced freelancers, but none of us worked in a serious development team that has its own coding standards, procedures, project management style, etc.
Currently we are all fine. But we are absolutely sure that we need to improve our way of working. Because we just catch our deadlines. Even so, most of the time we miss our deadlines or leave some interesting aspects of our projects. Although we work a lot, we do little.
Now you can rightfully ask why our leaders are not making some improvements. In fact, we are a strange group, or at least I think so, we are our own bosses. In most cases, no one gives us instructions or orders, and we can do whatever we want. Now, before I go to them and tell them about the excitement that I have, I want to learn some ways to do it right, or how others do it, and try to apply it first.
Sorry, this was a longer post than I planned.
Thanks in advance.
