Tomcat configuration

Question

It’s good that I worked with Tomcat 6 for a long time, and suddenly I started getting this error message when I try to go to this page: http://localhost:9090

Method GET not implemented (try POST)

Update: after changing my port to 8780 and accessing http://localhost:8780I just got this in Firefox:

Unable to connect

I do not know what happened, I completely reinstalled Tomcat. Any ideas?

All I'm trying to do is get the default tomcat page. not really trying to use webapp.
