The need for at least one modern project

I want to talk with one of my current employers about the need to have at least one modern project, bearing in mind that this company has very bad projects, it’s bad when you think about an architect, bad in usability, bad when you think about the elegance of the code.
I like some opinions, because although he is a great guy and open to ideas, he was bombed several times with ridiculous requests or false promises of efficiency or quality. I will have one shot for this, I think, and I want a headshot .

Everything that would support me in the discussion.

As I find more evidence, I will post here. Please, if you have an opinion or experience, I would be more than happy to use it when I came across a guy trying to help this company.
Thank.

It looks like you are trying to improve a software development project in your company. For this you do not need a “modern” project. If you are a developer, your boss shows evidence of the bad things you can find in the software and explain to them how these bad things affect quality, efficiency, time and money ... and then suggest specific measures that you can take without a lot of effort to improve these aspects.

I followed a very similar approach to this and it works. In the end, you create a solid foundation for creation, and new projects begin by being built with it. This becomes second nature to use, and developers will get refactoring code to make things shorter, more stable and more advanced.
