ASP.NET Development Server with Basic Authentication

Does anyone know how to get ASP.NET Dev Server to ask for basic authentication credentials instead of assuming my current login?

If you use Cassini, then according to the paragraph at the bottom of this link - Cassini Web Server Limitations , you cannot.

If you are using IIS, upgrade IIS authentication.

In IIS

• in the virtual directory of your site, right-click on your virtual directory,
• select the Directory Security tab
• select the "Edit" button next to "Anonymous Access and Authentication"

Do you have integrated Windows authentication in the "Directory Security in IIS" section instead of (or in addition to) Basic?
