PHP Mass Mailing Tool (free)

Question

I am looking for a free PHP tool for sending bulk emails.

Something simple, but it works: “send from” the address, upload the CSV file (email address, name), download the HTML template, insert the text version and SENT! But he has to work with large lists.

We already have our own, but it is becoming very buggy, and we need to send a bulk ad (7 ~ 8,000 recipients). Instead of wasting time debugging it, I thought maybe there is an open source solution that can speed me up.

I know the CAN-SPAM email rules and all that, don’t worry.

And I know that there are service providers for this, but for this we must do this inside.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of PHPList, here are some very good alternatives:
