GWT Grid - how to measure client rendering time

We have an application developed in Java, with GWT providing front-end. The application is used in a variety of hardware specifications, for example. also on old cars. Of course, users complain about performance.

We would like to collect profiling data from real users. While we can measure the net duration of the server part (which is easy) and the duration of the network transition (not so simple, but we succeeded).

The most difficult part for us is the measurement of the time elapsed between the "click of the user on the search button" and the display of the "first lines of the xxx grid."

Any idea?

Thanks Holger

But I think it will take some time from idea to implementation ...

Hope this helps.
