Wix Howto determines if a directory exists during installation?

Question

Do they have a chance in WiX to determine if any directory appears when the installer starts? I think I need to use some kind of custom action, unfortunately, I don’t know how to do it! In addition, I want to save the result of a custom action in a property and use it as a condition to call another custom action. Is it possible?

DirectorySearch seems to be what you are looking for. This will find the directory and assign the value to the Property.
