How to install emacs theme?

I am new to emacs and wondering how to get it to download a theme of my choice ( http://lambda.nirv.net/m/files/color-theme-chocolate-rain.el )

I'm on ubuntu and don't know what I'm doing (for now: P) regarding Emacs, for the most part.

This should work (you probably need to change color-theme-tty-darkto color-theme-chocolate-rain:

;; Enable a color theme
(require 'color-theme)
(color-theme-initialize)
(color-theme-tty-dark)

.el. ubuntu, ".el" . - ~/.emacs.d/themes - .emacs emacs - (add-to-list 'custom-theme-load-path "~/.emacs.d/themes" )

.el, .emacs

(name of theme download-theme)

eg. (load-theme 'gotham)

Save the file and restart emacs.
