My iPhone app contacts the RESTful service, which provides JSON output. I am creating JSON using mostly PHP. If I use the .NET web service or the WCF service, will there be any restrictions or differences that I should know regarding JSON as input / output for the service? I'm not sure what to expect from .NET in this regard.
One thing I noticed: .NET emits DateTime objects as
\/Date(xxxx)\/
where xxx is the number of seconds or something else. I had to make sure that on the JAvascript side so that it became the actual date.
