Using a USB port with C ++

I'm just wondering if anyone can give me any instructions on how to use USB ports on Ubuntu (and other Unix systems) & & / || (and / or:]). I tried to come up with something, but I was terrified. Even the names of the libraries to be used, etc., will be assigned.

Thanks Thomas Herman

You can use libusb for direct access to USB. http://www.libusb.org/

If you prefer to use a USB serial port or other device for which the OS already has drivers, find other means. For instance. / dev / input / event * or / dev / ttyUSB * on Linux.
