How to add to TOP an unordered list using jQuery

Question

I created an update for Facebook / Twitter as a status and can add a new status to the item. I recently found a great article explaining " How to add items to an unordered list using jquery ", but I'm not qualified enough to edit it to add the TOP of my unordered list.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Use prepend instead of adding.
