Flash z-index in iframe

so this is the problem: when I use flash on a website and create some kind of dialog box that should be above all other elements, I only use the correct z-index for the dialog box (in IE6 it needs to set transparent wmode for flash) . But the flash programmer does not want to give me a flash file and suggested using an iframe for his website.

  • there is an iframe on my site
  • Iframe has a Flash object
  • when displaying a dialog-diagonal dialog box (independent of z-index and even wmode that I installed firebug)

I canโ€™t contact the flash developer (anyway, he regrets that the flash object will remain on his website anyway), maybe you have some solution? and strange: - on some PCs it works fine, one - no. what could be the reason?

Since Flash is created by the plugin, I donโ€™t think that changes made to a property wmodein Firebug will have an immediate effect. You need to add wmode="transparent"to the source and reload the page.
