Quick prototype GUI

G'day,

I am looking for a prototype Windows GUI. Ideally, I would like to:

  • Be able to create a new graphical interface and quickly change existing ones.
  • As a result, the “thing” must be autonomous
  • Be able to include limited data, if necessary, i.e. When displaying a grid containing headers and possibly several rows of data for the grid.
  • Allow interactive hotspots that allow you to display a new screen or, possibly, a hint with explanations.

I use Visio 2003 for this kind of thing and then create a PDF. However, it has some disadvantages:

  • Networking data not possible
  • You cannot enable hotspots to change tabs in a book. for example, click a button and another tab will open.

If possible, a free open source application would be desirable, but a low cost commercial application would also be beneficial.

All pointers and suggestions are greatly appreciated. Rapid

The new Microsoft SketchFlow is a package designed for this purpose. Creating a stream from sketches, adding a GUI to show the client some basic ideas for interaction, etc.

You can send “thumbnails” as EXEs for them so they can comment and comment, but you can also put it on the net and even export to Word text documents.

It's $ 149, but I don’t know how cheap it is for you.
