Missing "qedit.dll" in Windows Server 2008?

We found that Windows Server 2008 SP2 does not contain QEDIT.DLL.

This DirectShow Editing DLL contained several useful DirectShow filters, namely the SampleGrabber, which we used.

I found some links to this problem during the beta cycle of Windows Server 2008, but it had to be added back for release.

Does anyone know about this, and are there any workarounds other than copying the version from Vista or Win2003?

The SampleGrabber filter is one of the MSDN sample filters. I'm not sure that all the filters you need are available as samples.
