PNG Compression

Question

Some PNG images, although only 150 pixels wide by 160 pixels wide, are 60 KB in size. I already ran them, although optimizers (ImageOptim for Mac), but it didn’t help much.

Is there any way to compress it further, manually or using some other tool? 60KB for a normal 150x160 image is really unacceptable, and I cannot use JPG or GIF there because I need transparency.

I tried exporting PNG as an 8-bit PNG , and the file size decreased significantly!

I tried to export the same PNG as an 8-bit PNG, and the file size was significantly reduced.
