Learning linux drivers

Question

I am currently studying programming drivers.

I am studying this book Linux Device Drivers

But I have a little lack of practice. Can you recommend me some simple projects with which I can start.

Or some open source project that a novice can understand what is happening.

Additional examples and tutorials will be appreciated.
