Sort Float Column vs Int Column in SQL Server

I wonder if the column type has sorting performance value. I heard that columns intare sorted faster than columns float. Do you think this is right?

For columns without an index on them, the sorting depends on the data type.

Floats are more complex than integers, so it’s logical to conclude that sorting them takes a little longer.
