I have an application for iPhone (Objective C ++). My beta testers - some of them, not all of them, complain about a slow start, from 7 to 10 seconds. On my device (it's 3GS) it loads in about 2 seconds. On a device simulator - even faster. As things are now, I canβt even highlight a bottleneck.
Can I somehow slow down a simulator or a fast device? Installing a simulated hardware version of 2.0 does not help.
In a pinch, I might try to borrow an old, slow device from a friend for a night or two. But I would rather not ...
