Special driver for connecting to SQL Server 2008 Express

I'm new to java, I want to test some shacky goodies!

I have netbeans installed and I have included the Hibernate libraries.

Then I created a new package called Model.

I will drop the class and xml configuration files.

Do I need a special library to connect to sql server? (window machine)
