Flash Lite 3.1 + javascript

I know almost nothing about ActionScript. Is it possible for Flash Lite 3.1 to use flash.external.ExternalInterface to interact with javascript?

If possible, can someone explain why jPlayer (open source) doesn't work on Wii?

I was looking for a flash mp3 player that will run on Nintendo Wii and that supports javascript interaction (for example, I need to be able to assign event handlers such as TrackEnded () and be able to issue PlayTrack () commands) and nothing not found. There are many flash players, but none of them can do what I need on Wii. This makes me wonder if what I need is really impossible. Is there something in Flash Lite 3.1 (which is used by Opera on Wii) that prevents javascript from interacting with Flash objects?
