The Mingus blog mechanism that I use for my blog includes django-proxy, which allows me to publish elements of various content types - blog posts, quotation marks, etc., but they all appear on the index page in a similar format.
In response to Hank’s comment, this is a completely different thing for “proxy models” - they are designed to subclass the model without creating a new table, to change some specific functions, and not any real fields. This has nothing to do with what django-proxy does.
