WYSIWYG editor other than Firefox and IE7

I have a built-in openwysiwyg editor in a web application. Everything works fine in Firefox. So, I choose the exact scene for the drop-down list for email and text area. This text area is being replaced by the openwysiwyg editor to format email. Thus, it looks great in Firefox, but it doesn’t work correctly in Internet Explorer 7. In IE7, the editor appears even before selecting a drop-down list. How does IE7 render JavaScript differently from Firefox?

I suggest abandoning this editor, which does not support Google Chrome (v.14.0.835.202 at the time of this writing), for the more popular open source WYSIWYG editor called TinyMCE .

TinyMCE is likely to give your users a more compatible browser , and I personally used it in my projects with great success.

You only need to enable the plugins you need, which can make it much more simplified if you want.
