WCF IConnectionRegister Duplicate Log Entries

I have WCF log entries that have the http://tempuri.org/IConnectionRegister/Duplicate action with the corresponding http://tempuri.org/IConnectionRegister/DuplicateResponse . Can anyone shed light on what it is? They seem to contain socket information, but I'm curious about what is called "duplicate".

thank

A connection duplicator is a method used when sharing ports. When a connection occurs by default for port sharing. The ownership process must transfer the connection to the process or server that will actually serve the request.

eg. you can have 2 services under the same port in different processes.

process1 ==> net.tcp: // ...: 808 / Service1 process2 ==> net.tcp: // ...: 808 / Service2

The port sharing process will direct the incoming connection to the corresponding process and duplicate the socket for you.
