How many concurrent connections does ADAM allow?

Is there a limit on the number of concurrent connections to ADAM. Is customizable?

- How many simultaneous connections of the same user can be established? - How many simultaneous connections from different users can be established?

Any help / pointers would be appreciated.

The theoretical limit is 65534. In practice, I saw 25,000 or so at the same time for one server. If this doesn't suit your needs, ADAM replication and load balancing is pretty straightforward.
