Getting jQuery from Google

There are several tutorials that suggest using the jquery path that is in google, for example:

<script type="text/javascript"
 src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.3.2/jquery.min.js"></script>

Is it safe to use in our projects?

Are we not addicted because we are not sure that he will be there in a year or more?

The reason I asked this question is because there are people who go for it.

In the documentation:

Google works directly with the shareholder key for each library operation and accepts the latest stable versions since they are released. When we accept the release of this library, we are committed to posting this release ad infinitum.

A similar question: Where do you include the jQuery library? Google JSAPI? Cdn?

Due to the answers to this question, I started using:

<script type="text/javascript" src="//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.3.2/jquery.min.js"></script>

It works for me on many sites. The only problem I encountered is some firewalls that block the site if there are too many requests (or at least this is my assumption) that occurs on higher traffic sites used in one place.
