Git version differs between remote and local copy

Do you think I will have some kind of problem using different versions of git software between remote and local copies? In my case, the remote control is 1.6.5.7, and the local one is 1.6.5.1 (several bugs fixed)

thank;)

1.5.x does not introduce any incompatibility of the repository format. A good example of this is the difference between local versions of Git and GitHub Git:
GitHub works with 1.6.4.3 and supports any 1.5.x clients.

Even upcomming Git 1.7 will not cause any serious problems, only changes.

The obvious, more general answer: try and see!

Minor revs are generally fully compatible.
