What is the difference between mx / fx / s object types in Flex 4?

xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark" 
xmlns:mx="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/halo"

Who cares? What namespace does this function provide? Where can I find information about this?
