Decimal point interpretation in archive calculations in Vim

It seems to me that Vim no longer recognizes the decimal point.

For example, if I do

: echo 22.0 / 3.0

then i get

2200

This is probably because Vim sees the point as a string concatenator and therefore calculates 22 . (0/3) . 0which is equal 22 . 0 . 0, which is then equal 2200.

I can confirm this suspicion by fulfilling :echo 3.9, and when I receive 39.

I am sure that I worked correctly (while correctly means: as I expected). So, did I change some setting or something else?

Thanks / Renee
