Is FastShareMem still needed in Delphi 2010?

So far I am developing using Delphi 7. In order to get through fe TStringLists for my DLL I use FastShareMem as the first element in every program and dll that I am developing.

If I need to upgrade to Delphi 2010, is FastShareMem needed?
