Changing the appearance of NSWindow in code

I would like to see granular viewing enabled when a user double-clicks on a row in a table. How to change the appearance of the window in the code?

The main idea would be as follows:

- (IBAction)tableViewDoubleClicked
{
    ...

    [window setContentView:myDetailView];
}

Please note that this may free up the view that was previously used as a contentViewwindow, so if you plan to share multiple views of the content, you will need to save them elsewhere.

See Apple documentation for more details .
