I was told to develop a brush program in 2 versions, which uses a lot of space and a little processor, and the other vice versa.

The idea (as I was told - so not sure) is to somehow save screenshots and save XOR maps (which I don’t know what that means) that represent the delta between the picture.

The obvious place to post screenshots is the cancel command. A simple memory-hog method is to take a screenshot before each action. If the user "cancels", you can restore the old screen.
