How to convert TIFF to JPG Inside Silverlight, on the client side, using a control or class / function?

We are creating a client in Silverlight that will display many TIFF images. Silverlight does not natively support TIFF. I need a control / class to convert tiff to jpg at runtime inside a Silverlight client. Any idea?

Not sure if you are interested in the solution right now, but we just released LibTiff.Net 2.0 with Silverlight support, improved documentation and samples.

The source package has a Silverlight Test Application that shows how to create a WriteableBitmap from TIFF images in Silverlight. Perhaps this will help you or other people.
