Dojo 1.4 - <a href> in the dojox.grid.DataGrid cell behaves differently than Dojo 1.3

In Dojo 1.3, I managed to populate the dojox.grid.DataGrid cell with an HTML element <a href>(for example <a href='/test?id=xxx'>xxx</a>) and then the (clickable) html link will be shown. Dojo 1.4 breaks (?) Is the behavior, and a literal string is shown (not a link).

How can I achieve the same behavior in Dojo 1.4?

figured this out in the meantime, setting the new boolean escapeHTMLInData parameter to false (true by default) fixes this ...
