How can I get the DVD title when I have a physical disk?

• The user puts the DVD into the drive.
• The program shows the name of the DVD movie and possibly even some links to web information

Do DVDs have a “fingerprint”, such as a music CD, that you can use to search for a web service, or has built-in metadata on the DVD itself?
