Look at the snapshot dependencies. If in the configuration of assembly A there is a dependence of the snapshot on B, then at startup AB will also be launched, and both will work in the same sources.
If A and B have the same VCS roots, then the assembly of these configurations will be built on the same revision. If A and B have different VCS roots, then TeamCity will receive sources at the same time.
