I would like to create a rich text editor for a website. How can i do this? I heard about using iframes for such a thing. In addition, the contentEditable role is set to true. Could you tell me what you know about implementing the WYSIWYG editor? It would be nice ...

Consider saving yourself a headache and see TinyMCE , FCKEditor / CKEditor, and CuteEditor (commercial). My personal favorite at the moment is CKEditor - it is very well developed and fairly easy to use.

The recently released Google Closure Library has the ability to create rich text editors, and I have no experience with this yet - dunno its limitations, if any
