Asp.net mvc runs on website

I have a current site working with asp.net 3.5. I have been using asp.net ajaxtoolkit with update panels for a while, and I'm starting to get tired of it. So I started looking instead of asp.net MVC and jQuery. It looks great!

My site is quite large, and it will take some time to restore it to MVC. So my question is, can I start using MVC when adding new pages to my website and then gradually change the contents of the whole website? Or does MVC require the whole site to run MVC at the same time?

It can be done, see the message here mixing web forms and mvc

Scott Ganselman or Scott Guthrie also have blog posts detailing how to do this.

edit: here is Hanselman's article explaining how and how dynamic data and dynamic data ASPNET WebForms and ASP MVC plug-in hybrids and ASP NET Side by Side dynamic data

The message from Scott and Scott is well read. In addition, I wrote an explicit article about this. Not sure if you can find this freak.
