How to git svn extract old history?

Question

I checked svn repo through git, but not from the first svn commit. Now I would like to expand the story a bit into the past. Is it possible?

You can follow the opportunities mentioned by Jakub Narbsky in How to add history to the git repository

Basically, you import your SVN repo with a large commit range again, and then merge the two git repositories.

Not with your current story. But you can check the entire history from SVN again, and then reinstall or merge your changes in this new branch.
