How to set up a target platform for an ASP.NET website

I have a website project that should load a 32-bit DLL, and I am developing a website on a 64-bit version of Windows 7.

Because of this, one of the 32-bit dlls does not load.

Usually in a desktop application project, I can go to the project settings, however I can not find this option.

I am using Visual Studio 2008

My idea is that it means nothing.

Even if you are allowed to compile in 32-bit mode, anyone else can configure it to run in a 64-bit application pool erroneously. This could be a disaster yet.

IIS, , .
