A year has passed since this question , and I would like to know now - what are the viewing mechanisms - people who find very good and why?
I think the most active is the Spark View Engine . This is very well documented, including videos on specific topics. I personally used the NHAML View Engine for the project, and I liked it, but there is almost no documentation. I also think that NHAML is not very active, adding features and fixing bugs.

As an alternative, you can also take a look at the SharpDOM viewing mechanism - http://sharpdom.codeplex.com/ - it combines the simplicity of pure HTML code and C # logic, expressed quite consistently
