System.DBNull with data contract name not expected in WCF

I have an array of objects that I pass to the WCF call with DBNull.Value as one of the values. WCF seems to choke on him because he doesn't know how to serialize it.

In Googling, it only shows people who have replaced DBNull.Value with something else. Should I do this, or is there a way for me to have DBNull.Value on the client serialized to the same thing on the server?
