You recommend wpf for POS

Question

- wpf (technology) based interface suitable for Point of Sale application?

my wpf fears are immature, slow, eating too much memory, the processor clock with the short required good machines, which, I think, the POS terminal does not have ...

plus point, I think

cool and powerful interface, good for winning 7 and a touch screen, but I don’t know how good machines / terminals usually get for POS

any suggestion .. either winforms or wpf for a POS application?
