How to find out what MPMoviePlayerController plays in Iphone OS 3.0

I need to know if MPMoviePlayerController will play at some point.

In iphone 3.0, it does not start MPMoviePlayerContentPreloadDidFinishNotification.

Does anyone know a solution?
