Cocoa Touch Data Saving

Question

I am experimenting with master data, plist files, flat files and sqlite. It seems like I cannot distinguish the efficiency of using small datasets. Regarding surface differences (e.g. API), I know the difference.

But I'm trying to figure out which persistence model is best for this situation.

For small datasets, if you need the ability to read and write, you should go with NSUserDefaults- if it gives you the ability to store and retrieve the key-value without too much hassle.
