Does anyone use boost :: multiindex as a single table database?

I need to support 200 records, 12 columns at extremely high speed, can I just use boostindex to cut off sql overhead?

Has anyone ever tried to do this? What are the advantages and disadvantages of such a solution?

thanks

In some cases, a container with multiple indexes will be much faster than an SQL table:

  • Small amount of data regarding system memory
  • No need to regularly load / store the container.
  • Queries / indexes known at compile time
  • Are you ready (or shouldn't) handle thread safety / atomicity
