Creating an article from email in mediawiki

Question

I would like to send an email to the address that mediawiki can receive, and accept the media wiki and create a new page from it as a starting point. More complex things, such as categories, may appear later.

I searched the Internet and did not find anything obvious.

I had not developed before against the mediawiki, but a powerful and willing developer.

This Extension - EmailToWiki

It relies on an affordable POP3 account and has been in beta for a long time, but this may be a good start for what you want to do.
