Xcode documentation claims "File not found" but gives correct results

When I look for something in the documentation for Xcode developers, I constantly get "File not found" / "The requested file was not found in any documentation set."

The strange thing is, it still works. For example, if I search for NSSound, I can find NSSound.

The error dialog is called whenever it tries to search by input type, which makes it especially annoying.

This only happens when certain documentation sets are selected (for example, “iPhone OS 3.1 Library”). I tried to remove it and reinstall, but the same result. (Perhaps I didn’t delete anything?)

PS. It is better to disable the automatic update option in the documentation. If it were not for turning this option on, I would not pay attention to this problem at the moment and could view my documentation.

I get it too. I assume that this does not affect so many people, although since the search for “the requested file was not found in any documentation set” in google still only calls four times. And it affects my desktop, but not my laptop.

Have you tried reinstalling Xcode?
