Sharepoint Training

Question

I need to learn Sharepoint, not so much the administrator function, but how much use / development. Does anyone know if Microsoft is releasing a free version, and if I need to learn .NET / C # or any other tools?

First, make sure you are learning .NET (best of all, learn C # in my opinion)

Once you have this, sign up for the SharePoint download camp. I just attended one of Unitek and it was great.

I would suggest going online video tutorials for sharepoint , rather than studying documents. This will definitely save you time. You will not need any other links after watching a good SharePoint video.
