IPhone SDK: custom video player controls

Question

In my iPhone app, I developed a custom video player, it’s very simple now, just by pressing the pause button and stop button, but I would like the user to be able to clear (I think this is the right word) video, how can you do with original Apple media player. Therefore, for the instance, I would like to be able to take the UISlider and control its current video playback position, if you understand what I mean. Oh, and you may be curious how I pause/ play/ stopvideo with this simple code snippet. [self.theMovie play]; [self.theMovie stop]; [self.theMovie pause];The problem is that I don’t know how to clean the video. Any help was appreciated.

This means that you have the opportunity:

• You can add your view to the main window. A sample can be found here: MoviePlayer example
• You can iterate over views, find what you need and add / remove views. I do not yet know how Apple should / do not like this method.
