VSS: move file from one folder to another?

Is there a way in Visual SourceSafe to move a file from one directory to another, keeping its history?

I really found a way to do this. First, I drag the file that I want to move to the directory where I want to move it, this creates a "link" to the file, and then "permanently destroy" the file in its original location.

Does this really do what I do?

For those of you who still suffer from SourceSafe, on the File menu, click Move.
